They escape words. *droool* For those of you who have read A Great and Terrible Beauty and Rebel Angels, go to her livejournal [link] and read! She sending her last book to the editors and it's making me uber estatic. O_O

ANN: She's rewritten the ending eight times.

THERAPIST: Gemma? Any thoughts about that?

GEMMA: For the most part. My brother Tom is still a horse's ass, though.

As a result…the “Character Is” project is OPEN.

Rules and guidelines:
You can do this for as many characters as you want.
You can do the same character as somebody else. Your entry will still be listed. HOwever, it will be competeing with the other entries of the same character to get a panel pasted into the Final Showcase.(See next paragraph)
When you finish the picture and post it, please link to this journal in the description.


Format:
It should be pretty much the same format as Kagome Is. Three columns that read up to down. The first picture in column one should state the character’s name and role in society. The next three should address the character’s IC reaction to common AU absurdities. The first picture in the second column can address whatever you want. The first picture in the third column should depict the character’s love interest/s or lack thereof. The pictures under it should show the character’s reaction to all the crazy slash pairings.
The top three pictures should be nice, but the bottom nine can be more simplistic and silly.
You don't have to follow this format exactly, but try to stay close to it.

I got a new printer! And it's so beeeeeauuutiful it's like my new baby. *ahem* So now I can sell my own prints for NDK this fall. Geez... I wonder if people are willing to buy stuff from our table... the one and I are renting. Anywho, then printer- it's a bit of a workout to print stuff, because my computer is upstairs and the printer's downstairs, so everytime I want a picture, I have to run downstairs and up. Fyi, I've been doing that a lot today, since I'm testing and trying to figure out what properties/sizes/etc. are the best and cheapest (save ink!). So yeah, I'm pretty excited for NDK. I don't think I'll be dressing up though, since I really don't have a costume this year... uuummmmmm... Maybe I'll just look cute or something, wear my aviator goggles

So aside from that... I feel like I should be doing STUFF. Like work on college stuff, check my email, finish my summer assignments... blah. They're nagging at me like a pack of hellhounds. I just... GAH... want school papers out of my room. So I don't see them anymore. Which reminds me, is being an escapist such a bad thing? Some people make such a big deal out of it. They're like "omigod, escapists are losers. They're LYING to themselves, blah blah blah..." I don't think they're bad. I mean, if the lie is for the greater good... like personal happiness. Why shouldn't people take a break and forget? Three years of high school (and probably this upcoming year) has taught me that life is CRAP when you're tired and still have hours of work to do. I get discouraged, but stuff like writing and drawing for fun gives me hope x_x So yes, I like to empty my mind of reality and think about drugs. Just kidding! Not drugs, but maybe something like... oh, I dunno, Aramus Inc., or a book, etc. Oh, and Last Exile. Always Last Exile So I guess in light of that, not to sound lame or anything, but Katherine (character from Aramus) and company really are my Advil. Maybe not solve my problems, but ease the headache for a bit, until I feel well enough to tackle that college essay. Or that thing called my brother. Friends are lovely too, but I'm such a reclusive person inside (by choice...)

I also joined this online rp game called FlyFF. It's fun and kind of addiction. You guys should go search for it on Google and download it for free. I think it's pretty safe, and you download it from the sight that makes it, so it's legal. My character is cute, I think I will have to start drawing fanart of her.

Writing a short entry to point out that "I'm not dead yet." I've been busy as usual, but by the end of May, I'll really be done! Yay summer vacation! *zomgfaintsaway*. I'm working on two pieces right now, but both are only halfway finished. Oh yeah, and there was also Prom. Euh... Not really that great, in my opinion. The whole affair felt kind of meanlingless; which makes me feel sad for the girls who get pregnant on Prom night. I liked my hair the best. I was inspired by Hermoine's from the fourth movie (and I dislike her too!).

Now, to make this post more meaningful, let's consider this question:

Mine was definitely Jurassic Park. I was five when I saw it, and I loved the Velociraptors (except when they bit people...). I even built a mini "Jurassic Park" with my legos and dinosaurs.
