Happy Halloween everyone! I'm still alive, I've just been super busy with schoolwork and of course the ever-daunting college application process. I'm halfway finished with my kiriban, et aussi, some other stuff. But I suppose people shouldn't be expecting anything soon. AP art drains most of my art time. Hmm... 18 days till I turn 18! Whoo hoo? It's weird to think about it, because when I was little, I expected to have so much to happen (what that was is rather vague). But now I'm going to be an adult, and the though is more or less... meh. Weird I guess. It's like, "zomg, will I sprout wings and have my tongue turn green?!?!?!" Jk jk.

Also, I finished Heroes! I really like it... but I wasn't that satisfied with the ending. Is the second season worth spending $60 on? (I bought the first season because I don't have time to watch it on tv and plus I hate commercial breaks).

Anyway, back to work. Screw my yearnings and human emotions. I've got three tests on Friday, and a million essays to write. Peace out.

Last week was NDK. Well, let's see... I went home with a bunch of mixed emotions. I kind of miss it, but at the same time, I'm glad it's over and I don't have to see another Naruto fan squealing "ZOMG NARUTO NARUTO NARUTO ZOMG I LOVE NARUTO AND ZOMG SASUKE ZOMG I AM SASUKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Plus it was exhausting trying to be nice to everyone who came up to our table and flipped through our portfolios.

I was at the artist's row for most of the time, occasionally taking a bathroom break or walking around the dealer's room. I'm happy to have bought an art book, and wish there were more Last Exile/anime I like stuff.

The overall experience, however, went by like a prolonged dream. When the balconies lit up, everyone gave a hearty cheer... like we were in some bizaar dance hall and the waltz has started. (The artist's row was in this hall with indoor balconies on both sides). So... I kind of miss that part. It was really sad on Sunday when everyone took down their flags hanging from the balconies. Then again, I get kind of depressed at the end of anything pretty much.

Other than that... I came up first place for juniors in the auction again, and there was a male Sailor Jupitor... there were two really attractive guys there... and no, they didn't have a Man Fay. lol. And I earned some cash. I plan to go to Sephora sometime after my SAT Subject Test . And I really need to ask my teachers for letters of recommendation this week! A lot of people have already started... geez...

Feeling kind of weird, otherwise. Silly hormones.

So I've gone to school for a week and it's seriously making me feel like I'm on menopause or something. Well, just... with the whole future thing and homework (which I still need to finish), not to mention relationships and weird vibes... poof... plus no time at all to draw or write Aramus *depressed*.

And who ever thought setting up posters around a classroom wall could be so difficult? They've fallen off for three days, and it's starting to really make me look stupid because I'm the one setting them up. Well. I decided I've had enough and went to the art room and got some duct tape and poster tape, which I stuck a lot on the back. Should work better. Better work better.

Okay, as Azumi from FMA would say, "Quit bitchin' about the past and worry about the present!"

Uh... okay, so maybe I'm not bitching about the past, but similar point: I ought to stop complaining.

Though a few good things happened (crappy haircut not included...). Mostly, I got Formcode , which is an uber awesome artbook by Range Murata! Whoot! There's even Last Exile stuff in there! DRROOOOOOOOL. Oh, and I got my Lavie and Claus wallscroll ^__^.
