  • Drinking: Holy Water
It's been two months and I haven't posted anything! I'm still here, I've just been trying to adjust to college. A typical day of mine consists of going to class, walking around (holy #@$=*, there's so much walking involved!), doing work, more work, talk with people, procrastinate, more work, sleep. (On a good day, I go to Urban Outfitters and oogle at all the things I can't buy). Somehow I've got to change one of the "more work" and the "procrastinate" into "draw". It's getting there. I've started on a piece, as a matter of fact!

Living in Philly has taught me a thing or two about myself. Mainly, I think I'm going to try to get a job in Seattle. I absolutely abhor the hot humid weather (and it's not even that hot/humid by other people's standards). I love the rain, but the rain here is rather disgusting, because it gets muggy about 12 hours before the rain, and then 12 hours after it's finished.

I saw Kara no Kyoukai (the third movie) during fall break, thanks to Shadowbucket. To tell the truth, I really like the movies. They're so different from ordinary anime... they're more like Japanese suspense dramas. And the art is breathtaking. Every time I've seen Kara no Kyoukai, I've been inspired to draw.

Well, that's about it. I just wanted to update and state that I am, indeed, still working on art.

ps- There's a terrible mood icon. It had a smiley being burnt alive... it was kind of funny.

I know what you mean about the rain T_T I've been borrowing someone elses umbrella, because I was silly and didn't bring my own >.< mmmmmmm, Kara no Kyoukai...I love all of the movies so far. They're just so prettiful.

I've been working on so many homework assignments that I haven't had any time to draw what I want to. I think I'm getting a little better at sight drawing, though, whic is definitely a good thing.

College can make you lose weight with all the walking.

I hate elevators, so I need the exercise.

And the animation assignment sucked up all my time.

That's good. I remember at the live drawing session at AX there were a lot of hardcore sight drawers. I should practice live drawing... meh.

My name is Sheldon Jeffery Sands... I work for the Central Intellegence Agency... I throw shapes. I set them up, I watch them fall... I'm living la vida loca.

Yeah, burning calories and speeding up metabolism is definitely a plus, but with all this heavy American food, I'm finding it difficult to lose weight even if do walk/exercise a lot.

So what was the animation assignment on, if you don't mind me asking?

I had to draw 180 frames. I was only short 16.

Then I have to draw more to morph with another person's animation and synch it with sound and film it and stuff.
