anime expo '08

Today I bought tickets for Anime Expo! Yay! I'm really excited about going, for several reasons. One, my friend and I are cosplaying characters from Fate Stay Night. :iconshadowbucket: is going as Saber, and I am going as Rin. Last Monday I purchased a Rin costume from ebay... !%!#%$!# It's because I don't know how to sew, and I don't have a sewing maching... I know, there's no integrity involved, but that's okay, because shadowbucket and I are going to look CUTE. My next reason for going is to see the other cosplayers, and for the overall atmosphere. It's a lot of fun just seeing what other people have done, and though glomping strangers freaks me out, I guess I'll make some compromises. Oh, and Jyukai is going to be there... I've only been listening to her song from Fate Stay Night a million times. :D Another reason is that I really want to buy things...lol, and see other people's artwork.

On another note, yay I graduated! Thank god, no more school. AND, I graduated class valedictorian. Whew, it was a close one! I think if I got one B, then I would be tied with my friend. The speech went well, and now I don't have to think about high school any more. YES.

I had plans to go to AX this year with the others, but we all decided that it would be best if we didn't since it's in a smaller venue this year. Aw well, tell me how it went :]

Yeah, I would be stressed out too. I hate planning for other people... I hate planning trips for myself too! I was even sort of stressed out buying plane tickets and stuff... well, okay, it was more stress over money, but still.

But hopefully, everything will be worth it!

^^; About my hair style as Rin...actually it's a wig...but a really good one. I've a short haircut *so-called 'bob'*
